This is a hands-on workshop in a rustic setting with an earth oven using firewood. By mixing, kneading, stretching, resting and shaping the dough, we are creating a unique flavour of our own, magical but wholesome at the same time. This is the best relationship to have with your food by truly immersing oneself in the process.

Sourdough bread is made through a fermentation process that boosts its digestibility, improves the availability of certain nutrients, and lowers its blood sugar effects which makes it a great alternative to conventional choice.

*This workshop is not suitable for children. For adults only.

*For all levels but prior bread making experience would be helpful.

If you are looking for a unique farm-to-table experience in the rustic wilder side of urban Singapore, you’ve come to the right place!

Workshop comes with a 30min guided farm tour to learn about common local herbs/vegetables in Asian kitchen.

Program Outline:

  1. 30 mins Farm tour
  2. Hands-on:
    • Sourdough bread
    • Focaccia bread
  3. Demo of how to prepare the sourdough starter
  4. Kampung plant-based lunch and refreshments

You get to bring home 2 breads (about 400 to 500g each) and sourdough starter. Therefore please bring along containers that are big enough to contain the 2 breads.

*Should the workshop be cancelled, we will contact you for the next available date, or transfer your credit to another workshop.

*If you cannot find a date that suits your schedule, perhaps you could form a group of up to 8 pax to have the entire Sourdough Bread Workshop to yourselves. This is perfect for spending some quality time with your family and friends and making memories that will last a lifetime. Just write to Erin at [email protected]

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

In the event of a low take-up rate or bad weather conditions (for Harvesting only), the workshop may be subject to rescheduling.

In the event if you are not able to attend the workshop which you have registered and paid for, kindly inform us ahead of time and we will reschedule you for the next available run of the public workshop.

Alternatively, you could also have the option of having your payments reserved as transferable credits that could be used for your future participation in other programs organised by us.

In the event that you are not able to attend a program and wish to work towards getting a refund, please note that a 10% administrative fee would be levied on your payment.
