Many commented that the original Chinese form was too square/rectangular in look, mainly due to the top part, which was a rectangle (formed by 4 strokes) with a vertical stroke through it. I always felt this word resembled the small robot in Star Wars – R2D2 which was loyal to its master. So, this was my first attempt to give it a rounder top look, like R2D2.! 🙂
