A project set up by a group of mother-youth pairs. Despite of multiple challenges, our youths are determined to show the world their potentials.
The name “E·VOL” was created by combining two meanings, “EVOLUTION” and “LOVE”. Evolution describes the gradual progress in special needs’ development journey. Despite slow progress, we are here to celebrate every baby step milestone which leads to big changes in the future. “E·VOL”, is also the inverted form of “LOVE”, symbolizing unconditional love and bonding in special needs community and aspiration to build a more inclusive society. A “·” is intentionally added in “E·VOL”, reminding us the challenges and maybe regression we are facing along the journey.
At E·VOL Studio, we design and handcraft every piece of jewelry. Every bead has its unique pattern, blended from non-toxic polymer clay. Every piece of jewelry is different and special in its own way, just like special needs individual.
