Dream Come True (圆梦) (#ARTSOFVIFM2022119)

Compared to its traditional Chinese form, you may notice it looked more rounded as I attempted to replace as many vertical/horizontal strokes by  non-uniform  width of brush strokes.  As a result, it has a less squarish yet a slightly round look and feel.  A rounded dream, literally word for word translated  as “圆梦” , which means dream come true in Chinese. 

I fallen ill on 9 September 2022 and had never felt so terrible  before. Luckily we have some stocked balance of medicine so my severe gastric attack was slowly relieved.  My blood pressure was significantly high and heart rate was  above average too. Tension and anxiety could be the causes, as my friends in nursing had been advising me to maintain a balance in life and have to learn to take certain things light-heartedly as it was beyond my control.  During these 2 days, it lead me to think  if there are any thing I have not done or my promises to others unfulfilled that could impact others. Hence, I decided to compose this piece, not only to remind myself, but also to remind others too. 

This artwork is not framed. The colored rice paper (diameter 28  cm) has been factory-mounted on square paper card (34×34 cm). You can send it to your preferred vendor to frame it or buy ready-made frame.
