Beautiful Lady (#ARTSOFVIFM2022076)
Whether speaking in Mandarin or writing in Chinese, these 2 Chinese characters are rarely used to denote that she is a beautiful lady. This came in mind when a sighted friend asked me for a variety of terms to denote a beautiful lady.
I decided to challenge myself to have these words on a single piece within the limited space of the round rice paper. Instead of having the words in vertical or horizontal layout, I decided to take the diagonal right top to left bottom layout approach.
This artwork is not framed. The colored rice paper (diameter 28 cm) has been factory-mounted on square paper card (33×33 cm). You can send it to your preferred vendor to frame it or buy ready-made frame.
