SaucyBean in collaboration with Land Of A Thousand Hills Coffee (LOATH) brings you its second impact coffee, ‘Against All Odds,’ from the Womens’ Nziza Collective, Rwanda.

LOATH, set up in 2005 by pastor Jonathan Golden, partner with secluded coffee growing communities in the Kivu and Ruli districts of East Rwanda ensuring them a sustainable living and access to new markets. Furthermore through LOATH’s non-profit organisation, communities have benefited from ground-level, community initiatives such as:

‘Do Good Health,’ which provides LOATH coffee communities immediate access to healthcare and ‘The Evergreen Project,’ which seeks to ensure the LOATH communities have easy access to clean water.

SaucyBean is pleased to bring you the fruits of this mutually advantageous relationship — a delicious, specialty, single-origin coffee from the Nziza (which means ‘Beautiful’ in Kinyarwandan) Collective – a group of over 200 women producers who are the sole providers for their families and produce such a high calibre of coffee that theirs is set apart from the rest and featured as a microlot.

Great as an espresso, or black, comforting as a single-white, and zingy as a filter we hope you enjoy!
