Discovered by Sir Stamford Raffles, the Raffles’ banded langur (also known as banded leaf monkey) was once commonly found throughout Singapore (*should we add Malaysia also?)

Today, it is critically endangered. In Singapore, there’s only approximately 60 individuals left. The adult Raffles’ Banded Langur is easily distinguished by their black fur and white markings.
