
Post MBA, Victor took the leap of faith and joined Fairmarch an online marketplace for socially and environmentally responsible products.
The initial plan was simple: get his MBA, build networks and find a job in a big company. However, the time in Beijing as well as his entrepreneur-classmates changed his perspective. Fairmarch started to make sense and what excited Victor was the opportunity to steer the business’s growth in an industry where people were starting to pay more attention to social and environmental issues.
It’s not easy running a start-up and this has been a steep learning curve. Looking back, Victor believes that it is important to stay focused and not be afraid to fail as you can learn from your mistakes.
